A Medical Personal Trainer is also known as a Medical Exercise Specialist (MES). We have specialized in Medical Exercise / Medical Fitness for over 20 years. Conditions we work with include:
- cardiovascular conditions (ex: heart disease, high blood pressure)
- metabolic diseases and imbalances (ex: diabetes, thyroid)
- autoimmune and inflammatory conditions (ex: arthritis, asthma, IBS)
- female reproductive diseases
- cancer (before, during and after treatment)
- MS and other neurological conditions and injuries
A 2022 study found that adults who participated in a Medical Exercise program 3 times per week lowered their risk of hospitalization by 39% and their risk of death by 60%.
4 Ways You Can Benefit From A Medical Personal Trainer
01.
Expert Guidance
You are unsure how to exercise or what to do or not do. You know you need to exercise or your doctor has recommended you start an exercise program, but you don’t know where or how to start and what you should or should not do.
02.
Tailored Environment
The typical gym environment, crowds, and noise is not for you. You desire more privacy, individual attention and equipment specific to your needs and a place where it’s safe to discuss sensitive medical information.
03.
Priority On Safety
You want to start and progress through an exercise program safely rather than taking unnecessary risks of relapse or injury before, during or after medical treatments, physical therapy, surgery, illness, or pregnancy.
04.
Accountability
You need/want the accountability, structure, expertise, motivation, and appropriate progressions or modifications that a coach can provide as you navigate a long term lifestyle change and exercise program.
