What Is Medical Exercise?

Medical Exercise, also called Medical Fitness, provides guided exercise programs and personal training to:

  • people living with or overcoming a health issue or medical condition
  • after injury, surgery, or illness
  • people transitioning from physical therapy
  • pre and post natal women
  • people currently undergoing medical treatments
  • women going through menopause

A 2022 study found that adults who participated in a Medical Exercise program 3 times per week lowered their risk of hospitalization by 39% and their risk of death by 60%.

We have specialized in Medical Exercise / Medical Fitness for over 20 years.  Conditions we work with include:

  • cardiovascular conditions (heart disease, high blood pressure)
  • metabolic diseases and imbalances
  • autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
  • cancer (before, during and after treatment)
  • MS and other neurological conditions and injuries

what we do

Medical Exercise

A supervised exercise program with a Medical Exercise Specialist, for those with high blood pressure, pre-diabetes or diabetes, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disease, arthritis, MS, neurological disease or injury, cancer, post injury/rehab/PT, post surgery, and pre and post natal.

Personal Training

All fitness levels are welcome in our state of the art personal training studio. We offer Individual, Partner, and Group sessions of up to 5 people. Join an existing group or start your own small group; this is a great way to work with others while still getting consistent individual guidance.

Group Fitness Classes

Our livestream group classes are for all fitness levels and include Weight Training, Deep Stretching, Back Health/Core Training and Yoga. Our virtual sessions are done on a professional quality set for an immersive experience. See our class schedule below for more details.

Recovery Services

Our state of the art Recovery Room has red light therapy, infrared sauna, massage chair and more. The Recovery Room is open only to our personal training and medical exercise clients at greatly reduced rates.

Personal Training / Medical Exercise sessions are available in person in our Houston studio, or virtually via Zoom.

This class is a hatha yoga class for all fitness levels, with a combined focus on strengthening, relaxing, and resetting the body and mind.
